Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar. First time here and we will be returning. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. Our server Delaney was attentive and focused on making our experience excellent. The food was exceptional. From the homemade bread and oil to the chopped salad, my steak and shrimp dinner and finishing with coffee and Frangelico, it was a delicious meal.

Everything was excellent! Food, drinks, service were outstanding and the music bingo was SO fun. Great job Wiley. Our family of 7 had a blast and we loved the hot cider on the way out.
