Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Everything was amazing and the service exceptional. We could see every details had been thought carefully, and we loved the little attentions and extra care from the staff to make our experience at Alo exceptional and personalized. It was just perfect!

I had an amazing experience last night at Bar Prima. I've been dying to go for the longest time, and it did not disappoint. Jarred took great care of us. In fact, the whole staff was super nice and very attentive. Iain runs a tight ship. The food was well executed, tasted amazing, and looked super sexy. The wine I had was a great find, but now I can't remember the grape. Of course, the decor and ambience is fire. It is perfectly lit and nicely spaced out compared to most cramped places today. We felt well taken care of and I can't wait to go back and my 2nd choices. Oh, and the agnolotti is a MUST. Thanks to everyone for a great night.
