On a sunny day, tables are allocated outside based on the date the booking was made (early birds!) We will do our upmost to accommodate you outside if we can. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. We are very proud of our historic location, hence naming the restaurant after the year the world-famous Brooklands racetrack was built and opened. The restaurant interior reflects the area’s heritage with a 1920s and 30s inspired décor and when combined with modern service delivery as well as award winning food, we provide a contemporary dining experience for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. We have been award two AA rosettes for the past seven years.Our brand new 1907 Glasshouse has a floor to ceiling windows that can be fully retracted so you can simulate the experience of dining outside. It also features a heating system so can be used all year round. It's the perfect space a romantic table of 2, a family dinner or for an event of up to 40 guests seated or 60 guests standing

We had a lovely meal - I had smoked haddock and prawn pie, and my other half had pork belly. He was very pleased with his and I enjoyed mine. The only small thing was I only had 3 small-ish prawns in the whole dish, but I realise it could be a seasonal thing. We had very decent portions for dessert too - chocolate torte and sticky toffee pudding. The restaurant environment was nice. A good level of chatter/hubbub and no music blaring which we appreciated. It meant we could have a conversation easily. It still felt private enough though, even though we were in the middle of the room! We couldn't hear anyone else's conversations clearly, so good acoustics and atmosphere!

Everything about the evening was utterly faultless and it’s not often I’d say that about somewhere. The setting, service, food, drink just everything was incredible and considering the extremely high quality of food and drink it was surprisingly really good value for money. Cannot recommend The Barn highly enough!!
