True Chesapeake is a Baltimore restaurant born of an oyster farm. Executive Chef Zack Mills creates a seasonal menu that showcases oysters from our farm in St. Jerome’s Creek, Southern Maryland — raw, roasted, and in signature dishes like Classic Rockefeller and French Onion Oysters. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay. Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. Rich at the Guinness Brewery was fantastic. He took the time to figure out what each of us would enjoy, which wasn’t easy, and made the whole experience super fun. His laid-back, friendly vibe set the tone for a fun and relaxed day. Huge thanks to Rich for making our time at the Guinness brewery so enjoyable!

Always great drinks, a great meal and amazing service. The only complaint is that the lights over the pizza station were super bright and shining right towards our table. Might want to rethink the direction of them. Otherwise, as usual, a great experience.

My husband & I wanted to try somewhere new for date night & The Beaumont was on our list. We started with deviled eggs & the grilled octopus. Both were good, but the grilled octopus was not as pictured from their website so we were slightly disappointed. We ordered the duck confit & scallops for our entrees - both were delicious! Chocolate pistachio cake was great for dessert. We liked the intimate setting & service was excellent. We plan to return!
