You can tell there's so much thought behind every single ingredient. The flavours and presentation were amazing. Sitting at the bar was fun because you can see all the kitchen hustle and bustle. The value at happy hour is 10/10 and the staff are super friendly (even when you pick every item on the happy hour list minutes before cut off lolssss) I hope this restaurant becomes a calgary staple for years to come. Highly reccomend!

I took my fiancée to Ruth’s for her birthday, drove up from Medicine Hat, and hadn’t been here prior. I read some reviews, and the only thing that I had read that was “negative” was the “sticker shock”. To be fair, it is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! The food was absolutely outstanding, and our waiter - Chris - was incredible! I have definitely never had a tenderloin that compares to the date night special. Do yourself a favour, take your significant other to Ruth’s on a Thursday prior to 6:30 and get the date night special. There is no way that you can go wrong with anything else on the menu either if this meal is any indication of the quality and care they take in preparing your meals. You will leave full, and completely satisfied - not only from the food, but the atmosphere and high level of service you will receive.

Good food and good service bar side booth. But, booth or tables aligned with the entrance a bit drafty on this cold day. BUT … Wait staff immediately relocated us to a cosier location. Very enjoyable lunch.

Birthday dinner. Food was outstanding. Excellent service. Best pasta we’ve had. Beautiful room. Top of our list now.

Charcut came to us as a local favorite while visiting in Calgary. It completely lived up to expectations. The ambience is warm and contemporary, and the food is excellent, with a focus on local meats and produce. The wine list is terrific, especially on Wednesdays when it is 50% off. Especially high marks for the service team: fun, friendly, and excellent advisors on the menu.
