Nothing delights quite like The Orator, serving up contemporary British food, cocktails, beer and wine. Set in a stunning Victorian gothic venue with high ceilings bathed in swathes of natural light. Such a special experience! It’s been a difficult year for my wife Christine as she has been very poorly. We could not think of a better place to celebrate getting through 2024. A little disappointed with the pies and vegetables. The broccoli had gone yellow in parts and the meat was not brilliant in the pies. Just a few tweaks to bring the food up to scratch, we had Sunday lunch here before and had to send back parsnips as not cooked. The venue and staff are brilliant, please bring the food up to top notch.
