Situated in the heart of the picturesque and peaceful village of Blockley in the Cotswolds, Blockley Cafe provides an all year round artisan dining experience for foodies and families alike.Our team look forward to giving you a warm welcome whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply coffee and cake.We currently accept online reservations for dinner only when you can experience our popular fine dining Kembleford menu.During the daytime we do not accept reservations and offer a walk in service.Wheelchair users are accommodated at ground floor tables in our Bar area. There are two dining spaces at Cotswold House, as well as an option to have lunch or dinner at our sister property The Noel Arms directly opposite.The juxtaposition of our relaxed Cocktail Bar area and sophisticated Hidcote Brasserie & Grill restaurant creates a two-concept dining experience. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. Dogs are welcome too. Hidcote Brasserie & Grill is a little more sedentary, romantic even, and is located in a beautiful high ceilinged Regency room. The same menu is served in both spaces for dinner.The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers a wide range of wines by the glass, as well as an enviable Gin selection. A cocktail list is also on offer, with a choice of classics or something new to try.

Solanche, Richard, and the team at The Royal Oak are proud to offer Michelin-starred dining at our village pub, between Shipston on Stour and Stratford upon Avon, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Since 2019, we’ve been dedicated to exceptional food in a community-focused setting.Alongside our Michelin-starred dining room, we have a relaxed bar with a pool table and darts, creating a space for everyone. Our menu celebrates terroir-driven, ‘proper country food,’ focusing on wild, seasonal ingredients. Our aim is simple: to tell the story of our community and the local producers we work with.The menu changes with the seasons, with some dishes lasting six weeks to highlight the peak of their season, while others may be available for just a week or even a single service—a fleeting, micro-seasonal snapshot. Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton. The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round. With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring. Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

We are open for our full a la carte restaurant service from Monday to Saturday each week with tables from 18:00 until 20:30. We are closed for dinner on Sunday, but the bar is open. We offer lunches daily and our wonderful Sunday lunch has tables from 12:00 until 16:00. Excellent food, great beer, with a good choice of real ale, open fires and dog friendly. Beautiful old building, helpful efficient staff, friendly locals . Definitely recommend booking as it was full for most of the evening on a Thursday.

We chose the tasting menu accompanied by the wine flight and it proved to be a superb choice. The attention to detail throughout the meal was excellent aided by very attentive and informative staff, who looked after us in the best possible way. I would recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fine dining.

The food and drinks for lunch were good and the service was friendly and reasonably efficient, just a little slow at times. They dealt well with one food allergy and overall, we were pleased to Kavenagh lunch there.
