The Royal Stag has been a historical drinking and eating establishment in the midst of the picturesque village of Datchet since the fifteenth century.Today we are the only pub in the village, proud to be the centre of the community and serving good food, wine and beers to locals and visitors alike from 11am until midnight.Our food is freshly cooked on-site, featuring local ingredients served all day every day from midday until we take our last order at 8.45pm.We do a fine Sunday roast and we advise booking a table so that you can enjoy our traditional hospitality, cosy fire and warm atmosphere. You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6.
