The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant.Our menu changes often and with the seasons.     We took our daughter for her 16th birthday. She had never been. Our waitress BRIDGETTE was AMAZING!! To top it off we surprised her with a new truck! The valet guys brought it up and put our giant bow on it and communicated with us to surprise her when we walked out to get the valet. They had it ready for us!! Outstanding service all around!

    The food was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. The server took good care of us. We originally had bar seating and they were able to move us to the dining area where it’s not as loud. We had a great time.

    We had a delightful, delicious and unhurried dinner this evening at Boca. This was important especially because family from LA was with us, and we were given the perfect balance of careful attention and space to enjoy our company

    Overall we had a great time. They were able to accommodate our party of 7 pretty easily. The gnocchi, roasted chicken, filet, mushroom flatbread, and stuffed mushrooms were all good. Cocktails were good. The lobster tail was just ok. Very chewy. But hey, we didn’t expect it to be phenomenal. Only real issue was it took forever to get drinks and food. The server tried her hardest but kitchen and bar seemed to be backed up and it was just very slow. She did apologize. Not her fault. We still had a nice time!

    All of the food is unique and delicious. We enjoyed the hummus, sweet potato, and duck and kale pastas. But the highlight is the roasted carrots - the best ever. They have added acoustic tiles to the ceiling since we had last eaten there, and they have helped to muffle the noise in the space. A welcome improvement!
