We allow a 15 min grace period, from your reservation time, for your party to be complete. We, Hashiri Bettei Kaiseki Aoki, deliver the experience of “kaiseki ryori,” a type of Japanese fine dining which historically developed to be served in the Japanese tea room. The tea room, as a space, symbolizes the home of the Japanese tea ceremony, a simple yet transformative experience offering a pause in time to appreciate the seemingly small experience of sharing tea. As such, we’ve designed both the architecture and the experience, to condense an infinite expanse into an extremely small space.The space is designed sans distracting elements. Lighting will be subtle and architectural details are clean yet warm. Designed to allow dishes to remain the focal point of the experience, our space represents the endless potential for an intimate dining experience that continues to linger on pallet and in mind well after the end.

We believe wine is better with food & food is better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy..often. Our unique approach to food and wine means we are "wine first". We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. Chef Julian is passionate about sourcing hyperlocal ingredients & has a strong focus on sustainability. Our service team includes ten sommeliers and is proud to offer guests more than 1,000 wines by the bottle. We are a casually elegant wine bistro open Tues-Sat 5PM to 10PM. The Champagne Bar is open daily noon-10PM. Children are welcome on the patio. The Wine Bistro and Champagne Bar seats adults only. Live Music Nightly.

    I had the absolute greatest time with my grandparents tonight. My grandma said "i rarely like absolutely everything i have at a restaurant and today i liked everything" and my grandpa said "it was absolutely fabulous". The Alaskan Key Lime Pie was the most amazing dish of the night, we even took a second one home to go. Our server Mikayla was also extremely kind and made sure to make our night special. Highly recommend for all occasions.

    Wow! This place is like stepping into a 3-star Michelin restaurant—every detail is perfection. The ambiance is elevated by live music, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The menu is a masterpiece, constantly evolving to surprise and delight. And the wine? Absolutely exceptional. My wife and I have experienced wine pairings and flights all over the Bay Area, and this is hands-down the best. And that’s saying something, considering we’re members of over ten wineries! The staff goes above and beyond, making every visit feel special. We’ve been here more than a dozen times, and each experience surpasses the last. Truly a gem—live music, incredible food, and impeccable service. A must-visit!

    We had the 4-course tasting menu, and it was fantastic! The meal left us full and satisfied. The cocktails—Project G, Cosmopolitan, and Calm Seas—were phenomenal, with smooth textures, great mouthfeel, and complex flavors. The service was exceptional and truly elevated the experience! We enjoyed the Kona Kanpachi Crudo, Lobster Ravioli with Black Truffle, Basque Cheesecake, and Paris-Brest. Already looking forward to our next visit to The Plumed Horse!

    Best experience! Everything was so thoughtful and well organized! I just loved everyy about it. I might advice to focus a bit more on the plating - like pretty cups utensils, etc (just nice to have). Thank you everything was super tasty and great!
