Just over the Devon bridge is a cozy, quaint restaurant by the name of Bridge House, which is situated in beautiful Milford. Featuring both indoor and outdoor seating and a private dining area capable of accommodating up to 80 guests, the establishment has been serving area residents with culinary professionalism since December 2007. Bridge House offers gastropub fare with a blend of English and Irish flavors and dŽcor. The service and food were absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel genuinely welcome. Their friendly and accommodating demeanor stood out, as they happily addressed all our requests and thoroughly answered our questions about dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding—made with fresh ingredients and featuring unique flavors and recipes that impressed us all. We were particularly thrilled when the chef came out to greet us at our table—a truly special touch. As we left, nearly the entire staff shook our hands, leaving us in awe of their hospitality. It was an unforgettable experience with incredible food and service. We’ll definitely be returning!

Chef Margherita Aloi never disappoints. She is one of the few chefs in CT who provide that true Italian vibe. This is not an Italian American cuisine. Her choice of dishes and specials are like. O where Elise the servers are incredibly knowledgeable about everything she offers from cocktails. Desserts and specials. I had her ho,made pasta with filet mignon tips in a Marsala reduction with a sliver of parmigiana reggiano cheese. It was exceptional and made me feel like I was back in Italy. This is my all time favorite restaurant. From the moment you enter to being seated you are lifted to another place. I’ve been following Chef Aloi for more than 20 years. This is the real deal. Brava chef.
