Dogs are welcome in our outdoor space and bar area. No dogs will be allowed in the restaurant-style extension. Parking Please note we have a car park on-site however it can get very busy and is limited. Please respect the neighbours when parking on-street by not blocking their driveways. Please do not park opposite other cars therefore making the road too narrow to pass. Come and join us at this beautiful old pub very soon. Please note we are closed on Sunday evenings and all day on Mondays.

The owners have managed to bring the building back to life by marrying old English and Greek tradition, maintaining the beauty of the building, but also enhancing it with sites and the aroma of Greece.Among the many menu choices, one can find lovely Greek salad (horiatiki) to chicken, pork, vegetable or prawn skewers or a classic moussaka, rabbit stifado or meatballs with goat’s cheese.     We had a lovely meal here tonight. Myself and husband had the two course Christmas dinner and it was delicious with plenty of fresh vegetables and lovely Turkey. My daughter had the Korean chicken burger and she said it was tasty. The waitress was helpful and looked after us well. The place was very festive with lots of Christmas decorations.

    Fantastic service, excellent quality locally sourced food in a lovely environment with plenty of Christmas decorations in Peak Village. Was fairly quiet when we visited as it was early evening which made it even more special! Would thoroughly recommend and the sharing dessert!

    Love this place - from the cocktails to start with, to the petits fours with the coffee at the end. It’s all brilliant. AS well as the menu there is homemade bread and butter, canapés, soup. Great as well that we don’t need to drive.There’s a bus from Sheffield (x17) which takes you straight there so you can taste the cocktails and drink from the lovely wine list. Non-alcoholic cocktails brilliant too. There are separate vegetarian and vegan menus not just ‘vegetarian option’ added at the last minute. All in all a great meal out with high quality food at a reasonable price. Not cheap - but the quality is worth the spend.

    An absolutely wonderful Jubilee picnic, the coronation chicken and rice was gorgeous. Such a wonderful array of rolls, quiche, scotch egg, crisps to accompany, you could tell they were specially selected for quality, and a fresh cream scone and jam, summer berries and brownie to finish. All beautifully packaged in a lovely insulated bag. Perfect.
