Forest Hill / West Portal​のビーガン料理が食べられるレストラン

This was a birthday dinner for my daughter, who is vegan and I am not. Everything was so delicious, I told her that if I could eat like this all the time, I could be vegan. We had the mushroom fritters, polenta cakes, Brussels sprouts, and rigatoni alla vodka, with bacon. It was all very creatively prepared. The Brussels sprouts are made with kimchi. The bacon was very flavorful. The only thing that we didn’t care for as much was the chocolate beet cake, but not at all because of beets in it. It just wasn’t as flavorful as the rest. But I’d also been skeptical of the avocado chocolate ganache and that was so good. We also had the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla gelato and it was divine! Birthday celebrated right!

Our party of 4 could not have been happier with every aspect of this dining experience. The food was outstanding from soup to nuts(no nuts, but…), a friendly and engaging staff, perfect lighting and curated design of interior, low noise level(allowing for thoughtful conversation), no pressure to leave with the joy of lingering over scrumptious desserts. Everything one desires in a neighborhood restaurant. Thank you for a great evening.

Excellent meal and ambiance, always a consistent experience eating here. We were really surprised to learn that Villon had stopped dinner service as this is my husbands favorite restaurant for dinner before the shows at Orpheum and Golden Gate theatres, for the delicious innovative dishes. We went for breakfast on a Saturday and as usual the service, food and ambiance were excellent. Would highly recommend, the price point is worth it. We were pleased to learn that the restaurant is working on reopening dinner service - we will be back for dinner when they do.

Spiazzo Restaurante is a cozy and delicious Italian food place to visit and a must when in the West Portal neighborhood!!
