We then ordered and shortly after the food was delivered. It was lovely and hot, fresh and really tasty. Everyone enjoyed. The portions were quite large and we all had enough with no room for dessert! The staff were lovely and very polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Coffee followed and then we left. the ambience was lovely, obviously popular with the locals too. I went once before, and forgot just how good it is! We were told that our meal would be completed prior to the theatre start and to relax and enjoy the meal. Due to staff shortages this was not the case. However, the staff reacted well, gave us a refund for the desserts that had not arrived in time, dismissed the service charge and arranged for a free drink in the interval.
