It was here that her passion for food began, inspired by her father’s experimental and creative dishes.For Sundeep, it’s the childhood trips back to India and memories of eating fresh dhal and fluffy rotis at roadside cafes in Punjab that he savours most. Humo [oo-moh], is a modern firehouse situated in the heart of Watford, serving Spanish inspired meat, seafood, fish, and seasonal vegetables cooked in a charcoal and wood oven. We went for a special meal to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday and we were not disappointed! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious (the festive cocktails with mock snow effect and gingerbread were a particularly nice surprise), the service was brilliant (friendly, professional and attentive) and the ambience was really special. Thank you so much for making it such a wonderful experience!

The wife and I went for a mid-week date night and had a lovely time at Humo. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the decor and overall aesthetic was very cool and most importantly the food was delicious. It’s a great asset to Watford high street.
