Although all of the tables were full and the staff were very busy, nothing was 'too much trouble' for them. I recommend booking because this venue has always been busy when I've dined there, no matter what the time of afternoon or evening. As a vegetarian, I chose the baked cauliflower dish and was not disappointed. Gorgeous! My companion chose a burger which she thoroughly enjoyed. The gentleman who served us absolutely “got the memo” that I needed to discreetly pick the most suitable table to ensure we didn’t disrupt other diners. He was excellent and understanding the boys’ need to be away from other customers and brought us kids menus. The menus seem “slim pickings” but we felt like we had a good selection for our picky kids and us being pescatarian. The cocktail menu was great and we enjoy a few of those. The kids had good sized portions or burger and chicken “nugget” and thick cut chips. We had a selection of veggie sharing plates. All of the food was so incredibly tasty and we felt really full despite the portion sizes looking quite small on arrival. We’d definitely like to return to have more of the menu. We’d just have appreciated a faster service because the kids were getting restless waiting for their puddings.
