Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. It now boasts a beautiful 60 cover dining room, which opens onto an open 20 cover cobbled courtyard with olive trees as well as an intimate private dining room. Westerns Laundry has won numerous awards for excellence and originality and is a firm favourite on the London dining scene.

Tired of the loosely French inspired humdrum of restaurants popping up across the city of London? Do you like holidays? Do you like cold drinks and warm service? If you've answered yes to one or more of these then perhaps Tollington's can refresh both your pallet and your mind. The idea came from a mirror in an antiques market and a love for a more informal approach to dining, the result is a chippy in North London with old church pews bolted to the walls to be leaned on and eaten from. The focus is on fish but the menu transcends fish, mammals and vegetables, leaving no stone unturned in the never ending quest for flavour. Split between two rooms, the front the engine, the kitchen and bar shared by customers as they perch on bar stools and enjoy dinner and a show. The back, bookable room is lower, lower lighting, lower seating, perhaps a slight calm compared to the front room, here works of art from friends of the restaurant adorn the walls and floors.Book now to reach Nirvana.

A restaurant, wine bar and fermenting kitchen - we're open for lunch Wednesdays to Sundays and dinner all week. Our menu changes monthly and our cooking is simple and seasonal. It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge. “A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. After 10 PM they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. We specialize in fish. Afterhours fun though could have a better vibe for a Friday night; DJ was dull. In addition bottomless drinks was abruptly ended, a courtesy notification would have been appreciated.

Had the All in (like I do every time). The chops were succulent and cooked to perfection. The bread at the bottom was, as always, freaking delicious! Sides of Kale and Parmesan (with enough parmesan to negate the health proprieties of the kale), Winter slaw (lovely acidity to cut through the richness of the meat) and coal roasted beets (great combination of smoky beets, smooth goats curd and strong grated horseradish). All of them compliment the meat. What did steal the show for me however, and hear me out, was the barbecue cauliflower chop. All garlicky and charred and delicious. Service was impeccable. The right amount of attentiveness. Banter was good. Overall, a charming lunch in a bloody good restaurant.
