We may be new to OpenTable, but we have been wowing our guests for over 275 years by featuring overly generous portions of the finest beef, veal and seafood served in a gracious white table cloth atmosphere. Legend has it that the Inn even served President George Washington himself in this very same historic building set in scenic Chester County.The cocktail lounge is warm and inviting, and the well thought out wine list includes a broad spectrum of varietals and geographic origins.Family friendly, the Seven Stars has not only a great Children’s Menu but also a Young Adult’s Menu. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. We had a wonderful dinner for 4. Had a late reservation and at the end we were the only table. We were not pressured to leave and the service was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I do not think it is typically this quiet, but was for us as it was late.

Excellent first-time experience at Funck’s for lunch. Hosts and staff were spot on attentive. Very nice indoors and outdoors; I love the outdoor pods! We ate inside near the bar which is warmly decorated and clean. Good beer selection; good tasting spare and ales. Guinness is served with a decorative printing on top! The hot pretzel and crab regionals were delicious. Three of us had burgers, all cooked exactly as requested (2 medium, 1 medium rare) and tasty. Tacos were excellent, too. Highly recommended!

server was warm and cheerful. made reservation but arrived early and were seated immediately. i ordered crab stuffed shrimp. he ordered steak. portions were extra large and we both took some home. no room for dessert though. plan to return again soon.
