Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. Was greeted with a smile by a friendly/welcoming maître d who also seemed to be in charge. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Food was good, but a couple of items missed the mark.

An exceptionally good experience. Three flawless entrees with the crab salad the highlight. Excellent steak. Overall one of the highest quality meals I’ve had in Australia.

The high tea was elegant tasty and filling - the scones were delicious and served warm - perhaps make a serviette avail to cover them to keep warm - other feedback for awareness is to add another savoury(?) that’s not a criticism in any way!
