I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. Steaks were cooked perfectly and a good size, were thoroughly enjoyed. Service was prompt with kids meals brought out first which was great! Mussels were very good too. Only thing to fault was the Parma were a little overcooked and dry but otherwise couldn’t fault anything else.

Great atmosphere (the horse memorabilia was in my wheelhouse). The food and drinks were A1 and the service was really good. Heaps of people there, but wasn’t loud or crowded. Can highly recommend a beer, food or a session there at any time.

We had a celiac in our group who was well looked after not just by the menu but the knowledgeable and genuinely caring staff who explained how they manage celiacs. Outstanding experience from one of the best local restaurants on the Peninsula. That’s why we keep going back. Well done team!

I ordered the Eggs Benny that came with pulled pork. Interesting combination. I did not enjoy it at all. The bread was hard to cut, there was way too much pulled pork and just a drizzle of the hollandaise sauce. Disappointing considering it cost $27. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
