Beautifully arranged over three floors, Bohemia delivers food menu available until 9pm each day. The award winning food is prepared fresh and in house, with quality ingredients. Guests can enjoy creations by Bohemia's head chef and his team in a variety of settings including 'the library' balcony where they can relax on leather armchairs, read newspapers, use the free wifi and watch the world go by below in the historic Lanes. Downstairs is the main bar where there is a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere in the rustic surroundings with the famous centre island bar being the main focal point. The bar creates a sociable ambiance where guests and bar staff interact since there is no wall or bar-back dividing them. The talented bar staff are literally on stage. We’re proud to say that Brighton was the second ever Bill’s, and whilst it’s no longer a bus depot (spoiler, it used to be a bus depot), it still transports you to the good times. Oh, and it’s only up the road from the seafront, so there’s no excuse to miss it, even if you get lost in the Lanes.

In 1976 Michael Garman returned to Brighton and opened IL Bistroafter being inspired by the Italian and French culture and cuisineduring his travels to the Provence and the western coast of Italy.His goal was to open Brighton’s first Mediterranean steakhouse.For the first time, Brightonians were able to order fresh pasta,arancini, dry aged beef, tiramisu and negronis.47 years later and now being operated by Michael's son Abe,IL Bistro still stands by the same principles, using local suppliersand produce, fresh ingredients and the best available dryaged British beef. The restaurant is situated in an 18th centuryfisherman’s cottage which we find rather fitting after Michaelspent years in Portofino, Livorno and Saint-Tropez, Europe’smost famous fishing villages.Booking info:Since reopening from covid we ask for a £10 per person deposit in our busier times which gets deducted from your bill at the end of your meal. We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

It's a superb setting for a pre-Christmas lunch treat. The food was fantastic and just enough to delight the taste buds and leave enough energy for shopping in the afternoon. The reception team and waiters were attentive and friendly. The decor is stunning and lifts the whole experience. Thank you.

We had to wait to be seated as we were told that our table was ready but then advised it was given to someone else and it would be a couple of minutes. That was not true and we had to enquire if the table was then ready, to which we were seated immediately. Although we were having the set Christmas menu we were also not offered a drinks menu, we had to pull this up via our phones. The server we finally had was nice, but we had to ask to do the Cluedo activity but he was attentive when serving the food. Normally it’s been really great here but the seating and no drinks menu was not the best experience.

The atmosphere was great the food was beautiful the only thing they were short staffed so the drinks that were unreal just couldn’t come quick enough. Staff were amazing did apologise and give us a free shot of our choice. Would 100% go back.
