For the next few months we will only be taking bookings for our Indoor seats as the weather is a little too unpredictable for the next couple of months. Bright and airy, with a vintage retro style and featuring distressed wooden tables topped in white marble, salvage greenhouse window frames and comfy linen banquettes, Salt continues Avoca’s emphasis on serving delicious, seasonal dishes with largely locally sourced ingredients. Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. My main course was the fish pie and it was delicious. Salad was a tad bland but tasy enough. My friends enjoyed theirs, fish & chips and chicken burger. Very comfortable. Staff very attentive. Would recommend.

I went for breakfast and requested a slight change to a standard menu item, but it was initially served incorrectly. However, they quickly corrected it without making me wait too long. The waitstaff were very kind, and the environment was clean and bright. It's a place I would definitely like to visit again.
