We are located in the centre of the Main Street in Maynooth Co. Kildare above McMahon's Bar.We specialise in serving modern Thai and South East Asian cuisine, along with delicious cocktails, craft beers and wines from around the world. Our style of service is friendly and relaxed as we believe dining out should be a fun and friendly experience. We have an enclosed heated rooftop terrace that comfortably seats up to 30 people all year round and is perfect for birthday bashes and corporate events. We also offer various group menus. We don't charge for room hire once there are a certain amount of people in the private group.We cater for ceoliacs as we have many gluten-free dishes and desserts as well as a gluten-free beer! We are happy to discuss any dietary requirements you may haveEarly Bird runs 4.30 - 6PM Tue-Thu, 4-5.30PM Fri -Sat and 3-5.30PM Sun and costs €27,95. Nestled in the heart of Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, overlooking the Royal Canal, The Lock Keeper can be found at Lock #10. Steeped in heritage, this double lock was constructed c.1792. With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. The Royal Canal, which runs from the River Liffey to the River Shannon and stretches a distance of 145km, was originally built for freight and passenger transportation with the last working barges ceasing to operate in 1951.Now beautifully maintained by Irish Waterways, you are welcome to visit The Lock Keeper by canoeing, walking or cycling from Dublin City Centre.
