Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK.     First time going to Estabulo today and wow it was amazing! The venue is stunning, I love the low light, the flowers, the vibe it gave off was fab. The salad bar was fantastic with so many options that I didn't even think would be there. Eg. Garlic buttery mushrooms, peppercorn sauce, little picante? Peppers...beautiful! The meat speaks for itself - absolutely perfect 👌 Only downside was it was my partners birthday which I had noted on our booking. So, when we ordered dessert I had hoped they'd pop a candle on top or say happy birthday but they didn't. Other than that it was a fantastic experience and we will be back again!

    We attended as part of Norfolk Restaurant Week The menu, which we had viewed before , had plenty of good options and we had the assiette of goat's cheese, followed by the pork and the lamb, with sticky toffee pudding to follow. The starter was excellent, the mains very good and the pudding good. The staff were pleasant, engaging and attentive. The main course took a little long to arrive, but they were very busy and we had arrived early, so we didn't mind at all. All in all a very good experience.
