Went here for a birthday dinner. The ambience is great. Apparently a former bank, it has lots of brick, mirrored wall behind the bar, an intimate booth although it faced the bar and the kitchen. Started with cocktails of Prosecco for my wife and a Campari and soda for me. We had the special burrata appetizer, which was served over spaghetti squash and topped with pomegranate seeds and a touch of honey I believe. Nice presentation and a great starter to go with a basket of fresh rustic Italian bread. My wife had the halibut special served over vegetables with a sauce on the side. The halibut was cooked perfectly, crisp on top and moist inside. I had the ribeye served over arugula and cherry tomatoes and topped with green peppercorns. The steak was also cooked perfectly medium rare and paired well with the salad. They have a decent wine list and we opted for a great Nebbiolo at a reasonable price. Our server was Luis who was extremely helpful, without hovering, and very friendly. A bit on the pricey side, but a fabulous place for a special dinner.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was serene and beautiful, the waitress was very knowledgeable and nice, and the food was delicious (yes, I said it again..LOL)

We love eating here - it is one of the best places to eat in Downtown Annapolis. Enjoy a wonderful night of French cuisine along with some wine - you'll love it.

I always enjoy Ram's Head Tavern. On this occasion, traffic was terrible getting to the restaurant. I called them to tell them we would be late and suggested that we cancel the reservation. The restaurant said they would hold it for us no matter how late we arrived. We were 35 minutes late and were seated immediately. Later that evening one of their employees helped us with the pay by phone app for the garage nearby. So good food at reasonable prices and great services is something you should anticipate at Ram's Head Tavern.

Rachel took wonderful care of us. The food was delicious and served very promptly. There was a mix up with our Open Table reservation but manager Robert promptly texted me the morning of to accommodate us at an earlier seating because of the holiday. Rachel was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. From the cocktails, to the appetizer, to the entrees and desserts we took to go, an outstanding meal. It was the perfect Christmas Eve dinner for our little family. A well-deserved reputation as an excellent establishment.
