The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish art deco masterpiece featuring two distinct dining spaces, historic bar and live Jazz. The front entrance leads guests to the elegant front dining room with the stage being the focal point. The back entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. The balance of the menu features seafood and eclectic dishes that change with the seasons. Lunch has its own unique offerings, and the Bar offers distinct offerings for Happy Hour. An extensive wine list is housed in a state of the art cellar with private lockers. Dress code is business casual at a minimum, and is strictly enforced. Please dress accordingly

Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio.     Absolutely wonderful! Top notch restaurant experience from beginning to end. Clean, upscale, excellent menu, great ambience, high quality all around. Server Billy added to the overall experience.     We had Christmas brunch at The Apparatus Room. The hostess seated us right away and was very accommodating to our seating preference. I loved that the restaurant had music in the background that wasn't too loud. The service was prompt and attentive throughout the meal. We all enjoyed our food and had a great time. I will definitely return here in the future.

    I was there to have dinner for my birthday. I was there alone…. Table for one . 😏 But the atmosphere and ambience was so nice and lovely that didn’t bother me. I enjoyed the staff and the food was delicious. Thank you London Chop House .
