Welcome to SKÅL Nordic Dining - the neighbourhood Nordic restaurant located in a Grade II listed building at 149 Upper Street - a well-known address for high quality Scandinavian food and drink. Our restaurant SKÅL, meaning ‘Cheers’ in Swedish, opened on the 2nd of December 2019. We serve traditional Nordic recipes but with a modern, seasonal twist - all underpinned by the term 'husmanskost' meaning traditional home cooked Swedish food. The service was wonderful and the food came out wonderfully fast. Everything was delicious and we were really looked after. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was warm and not hot but it was delicious and we imagine that at such a busy time of day it was understandable. We went at 1:30pm on a Sunday at the end of Black Friday so London was quite busy. It was a great pub in a lovely quaint area and was very accessible by tube and I would definitely recommend it to somebody. We had the vegetarian roast, chicken and beef and the cauliflower cheese and they were all very tasty.
