Had a very good experience with both food quality and service! Dining here is like time warping back to the 1780’s when this place opened, very low lighting, old wooden tables and chairs and a fireplace in each room. We had the gumbo on special, and the chicken pot pie. The gumbo was excellent, the chicken pot was very good also…just needed to be served a little hotter. We had a cup of soup, a chowder I believe, that was very good. Cool establishment!

The waiter was very congenial, attentive. the food, rockfish and salmon was perfectly prepared and the wait time for our meal was just right. Ambiance wonderful. Highly recommend.

Cobb salad was very enjoyable but small in size for a man.

Service was great. Friendly, professional server and host. The food and drinks were wonderful but the dessert was not good at all. The cake was very dry and stale. Flavorless. Everything else was amazing though. We enjoyed ourselves, thank you!

Good experience but the food and service weren’t as good as I expected. Granted it was a very busy night. Food was just okay.
