The concept of The Desi Accent reflects the sentiments of Desi (people of Indian subcontinent) and their diaspora derived from the Ancient Sanskrit (deśá) meaning Land or Country. Our team aims to share the 4,500 years old culture through a culinary experience deeply rooted in India’s heritage. With a rich heritage, the history of Indian cuisine is as old as our civilization. The Indian dining etiquette is built on traditions. Behind almost every tradition are centuries of invasions, conquests, religious beliefs, political changes and social customs.Our culinary team’s goal is to transform Indian spices and ingredients to memorable meals and authentic experiences. Indian cuisine is reflective of the historic eras. Our menu is reflective of a unique blend of vibrant colors and flavors with regional inspired recipes passed on from one generation to another.

    We went in the Saturday following Valentine’s Day and enjoyed the prix-fixe Valentine’s dinner. The food options were good. Our dinner, wine selection and service were very good.

    Food and service were great. Place can get a bit noisy. But again, it is a bar/restaurant. Saying that, would still go back again in a heartbeat!

    Dined at Desi Accent on Sunday afternoon. Very pleased that there was a buffet available so that so many different dishes could be tasted and enjoyed. Everything was beyond delicious! Starting with the chicken soup- spiced and delicious. warm Naan brought to the table. The veggie samosa and vegetable pakora were a great start to our meal. The Butter Chicken , Tandoori Chicken and Aloo Gobhi were very flavorful. We went back for more! So many dishes to sample! Ending with pistachio kulfa and also a mango kulfi- fabulous. Cocktails were different and delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. The owner walked throughout the restaurant checking in with guests- nice touch. Prices are fair and reasonable. Definitely will be back!!!
