The high style and gorgeous interior offer inspiration in one of the Eastern Seaboard's cultural and historic gems, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The dining experience is refined, and the dishes are characterized by their polished adaptation of traditional Viennese and European classics, with ingredients from the finest local purveyors and farms.
The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes. The basement houses an extensive wine cellar and intimate tasting room called The Locker, as well as a temperature-controlled cheese “cave,” and a kitchen where chefs produce fresh pasta each day.
The top table on the Eastern Shore. On a miserable rainy afternoon, we enjoyed the usual warm welcome. Lovely craft cocktails (Rye Manhattans), starters were great, mains were wonderful . . . all enjoyed with a fantastic Bordeaux. Service superlative, as always!

Dinner was wonderfully presented and absolutely delicious! Staff had great recommendations and the kitchen certainly follwed through. Our party of three enjoyed delightfully grilled carrots and caesar salads followed by ravioli stuffed with short ribs, lobster fettuccini and a juicy NY strip. A complementary birthday dessert and loaves of fresh baked bread topped this memorable dinner!
