Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle. We are proud of our part in Windsor history and continue to provide a traditional pub environment amongst the cobbles of the old town next to the historic Guildhall.Our menu includes traditional British favourites and all food is freshly cooked on-site, served from 12pm, to 5pm.We serve a fine Sunday roast until 6pm and we advise booking a table so that you can enjoy our traditional hospitality. I want to thank all the Ivy staff for their warmth and kindness. It truly is the best place to celebrate a long anniversary or a special event. Everyone was incredibly professional and amazing, and the atmosphere was simply stunning. The afternoon tea was an incredible experience—every piece was exquisite and tasted absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough—it’s absolutely fantastic!

This restaurant had been recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The only downside was trying to find parking nearby as Open Table suggested it would be easy to park in the street after 6pm BUT it wasn't! The restaurant itself is quite intimate and contemporary. The food choices were many and varied but as we hadn't eaten Chinese food in a restaurant for quite some time, we went with the larger set menu for the whole table. The mixed Dim Sum were soft and pillowy, the crispy duck was really tasty and the pancakes were super thin, the remainder of the meal involved a large bowl of Singapore noodles with dishes of black cod, pork and beef. The black cod was to die for, the pork was sticky and crisp and only the beef was a little disappointing in that the texture of the beef did not seem quite right but that was not the view of the whole table as they easily ate the lot. We would certainly recommend The Mira and will be trying something from the many other menu choices next time we go. Lots of the tables were choosing the whole BBQ duck but that does need ordering in advance for anyone else considering trying it from the menu.
