Bar George is located in a historic building in downtown Montreal. The food, service and ambiance were impeccable. We went for brunch and were excited to taste several of the French inspired offerings that were available to us. I had a delicious French lobster omelette, potatoes and frogs legs on the side. My wife had a breakfast pastry platter with a scrambled egg on the side. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were totally satisfied with our meal which was wonderful. I highly recommend Bar George.

We had an amazing dinner and the restaurant is very good, without questions about that. Although, when we're questioned in advance what would be the occasion filling the reservation, and we explain why the occasion is special, we expect to be in a very nice spot. Otherwise, there is no point to ask the occasion if absolutely nothing will be done to enhance the experience. We had a very nice server, good food but a terrible spot. It really doesn't make sense.

Moi et mon mari on a partagé le repas pour 2 le tomahawk tellement bon j ai adoré en plus comme entrée on a pris la bisque d homard et quoi dire du dessert la mousse au chocolat maison dans toute ma vie je n avais jamais aussi bien mangé et que dire du personnel notre serveur tellement gentil je recommande ce restaurant et juste plate que je nous restions plus proche le meilleur restaurant au Québec dans tous les sens du mots

Best Steakhouse in the city ...as far as your money’s worth. My rib steak was well-marbled, tender, perfectly cooked and spiced. Twice bake potatoes are delicious The service is great. You will not be disappointed. Our waitress Marie was wonderful and Luca, the young man that seated us was gracious and welcoming.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for high quality food, tasty and extremely fresh ingredients. Noise level was perfect and the service was exceptional. I would go back in a heartbeat and would be proud to take friends or family next time.
