Austin's Ale House is a Bar and Restaurant in the Kew Gardens area of Queens, New York. It has an expansive dining area with a large mahogany bar, a comfortable lounge with a fireplace and a casual dining room. An outdoor patio is available in the warmer months. The bar features multiple HD televisions along the walls, so guests can watch any popular sports games while enjoying a drink and a meal. The menu at Austin's Ale House is full of delicious American cuisine, ranging from sliders and sandwiches to seafood and specialty salads. Popular options include the Shepherd's Pie, Austin's Chicken Sandwich and the Short Rib Sliders. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are offered on the lunch, dinner and patio menus. Il Poeta is an Italian restaurant with a Northern Italian cuisine. Chef and co-owner Mario Di Chiara has over 20 years experience in the most famous Italian restaurant in Venice and NYC with 10 years work experience in Cipriani’s restaurant. In summer 2011 the Italian Government award Il Poeta with "Ospiutalita Italiana nel Mondo" meaning that it is a truly authentic Italian restaurant (so far we are the only Italian restaurant in all Queens to have this award from the Italian Government).

    The food here is always great. I had the lamb and sea (lamb chops and shrimp) which was one of the specials. The lamb was cooked just as I asked (medium) and was a nice portion, along with 5 or 6 shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also had the mussels for an appetizer, some of the best I have had. Everyone at our table was too full for dessert. In fact, 3 out of the 5 of us took home leftovers. Nick’s Bistro remains one of our favorite restaurants both for the food and the value, as well as the friendly, attentive wait staff.

    I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!! I came this Saturday with six people. When I tell you… this is literally my new favorite spot…I mean it. I had the ravioli, but everyone else at my table got burgers because the quality of the meat was to good to pass up. Not to mention that the staff was incredible. Love this place

    What a wonderful little place with great service and lovely atmosphere!! My friend and I enjoyed our night out here and we will definitely return. The food is very good and the drinks are great.

    This is one of my go to spots. The food, drinks, and service is always on point. The dining room is much quieter than the bar area. Parking can be a pain but it’s a great place to eat.
