It was a birthday celebration dinner, so we were all primed to have a great experience and we were NOT disappointed. Kristen did her best but it appeared she was the only server when we arrived — which was fine when we first arrived but as the restaurant began to fill up it tended to lend a slower pace to the evening. The food and beverages were stellar and beautifully prepared and presented. The grilled artichokes were excellent. Be sure to ask for the entrees in the secret menu — the chicken cutlet and spaghetti with meat sauce did not disappoint. The halibut was spectacular— the lemon accent was just the right touch. We dine out once a month and Restaurant Claudine will definitely be in the rotation. Thank you for making tonite so enjoyable.

Initially booked a table but asked to sit at the bar and hostess was extremely accommodating. The quail poppers alone are worth coming back for as they were tender and juicy with crispy bacon wrapped around each leg. Had the burger as my main, equally fantastic. This is one of the places I like to hit before going to Spurs games.

I ordered the Snapper Paesanos and it was delicious. Also had a Chardonnay Wine and Specialty Cocktail and everything was Awesome. One of my favorite Restaurants on the Riverwalk.

We celebrated two birthdays, and Paul made our experience the best!! Paul was so friendly, the best host/server. We each ordered a different meal and they were all delicious.  And you can’t go wrong with the location, the Emma Hotel on the Riverwalk! Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

The Ambler Restaurant offers a beautifully inviting atmosphere that feels both comfortable and sophisticated. The staff is exceptionally polite and professional, making for a delightful dining experience. Our waiter frequently checked in on us to ensure everything was to our liking. When I mentioned that I would prefer my dish to be heated a bit more, she promptly and cheerfully addressed my request. To my surprise, the chef personally came out to apologize and graciously offered a complimentary dessert, along with a freshly prepared plate that was absolutely perfect. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied and would give this place all the stars if I could! The service was excellent and the ambiance elegant. I will definitely be returning!
