We were please with our food that we got. The server was responding to our request quickly and officially. The restaurant was able to sit us at the table 15min earlier than our reserved time. The few negatives: we were not able to make a reservation earlier that 8:15pm. Reservations only available through an app OpenTable. By 8pm restaurant ran out of many food items on the menu.

I am so happy we gave Blue River Bistro a try. I had heard the cocktails were winners, but, wow, the food we had was the best of the trip!! The bison short ribs took first, followed closely by the salmon. My son’s Beef Wellington was done to perfection! The harvest salad was also delicious. Looking forward to a return trip when we return to Breck in the future!

This is our second time here and it never disappoints!!!! It’s become our tradition every visit. The food is amazing, the service fantastic & it has my Williams Schnapps I miss so much. The ONLY complaint I have- is that they are so busy we kind of felt like we were being rushed out after 45 minutes which with two kids and trying to muster a cry free and also enjoy our food and drink experience was a bit frustrating but overall- AMAZING! Must go!

Service and ambiance fabulous. The halibut was dry and lacked distinction. The meats were excellent, as were the apple fritters and martini. The dinner rolls were a bit dry. We let our server know about the fish and she graciously offered more sauce. It was odd that you charge extra for meat sauces. The grilled Caesar lacked taste - perhaps needs more salt? The mashed potatoes and spinach were very nice but not stand outs. The presence of the manager was noted. We were impressed that when we asked what kind of vodka was in the martini, the water server had the sommelier come over and he gave a fulsome answer, including the logic behind the choice of the house vodka. This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in the world. Highly recommend all of these items. It is a perfect balance of cold and warm and the progression is great. Yellowtail jalapeño Oysters Nobu salsa Cucumber Sunomono salad Miso soup Black cod lettuce cups Octopus, King Crab and Yellowtail nigiri sushi Grilled cauliflower with jalapeño Miyazaki Wagyu beef Tuesday we just walked in and sat at the bar. You need to start lining up if you walk in at 4:30 and you either get last minute cancelled tables, bar, or sushi bar. Otherwise you have to wait for the second turn. For reservations on Christmas we were thankfully in Paris so the timezone was manageable, because reservations open up at midnight of the timezone the restaurant is in. Likely to sell out quickly on the weekends or peak season. Hope this helps!
