The shop offers more than 260 choices of teas and serves fresh-baked scones with house-made clotted cream and house-made lemon curd along with all-day high tea [finger sandwiches, savories & chocolate covered strawberries] and many other English food items such as banger & mash, Coronation Chicken Salad, Scotch eggs, quiches, Shepherd's Pie, etc.We are located on the corner of Rutland St. and N. Florida St. is just a block from the antique stores on Lee Lane and one block from the art galleries on Columbia. Off-street parking is available, wheelchair Lift and ample free parking on Florida St. and Rutland St and nearby Free Public Parking [Ox lot].

    Best food I’ve had in years. So well balanced. Started with the oysters and a light salad. Nothing overdone, salad light and refreshing, oysters and house made cocktail sauce perfect. We had the scallops and steak frites. Both perfect. Best of all, the deserts were perfectly sized. Just enough to top off the meal. Both the chocolate torte and carrot cake were great, but the carrot cake with the layers of flavors was so inspired. Light whipped cream on top, spicy carrot cake, salt on a base of more whipped cream, and a satsuma glaze on the bottom. Thank you for a wonderful last night in New Orleans.

    It was a rainy Saturday night my family and I had the best service with our waiter,Cameron. He made excellent suggestions for the appetizers. The bread board was wonderful,and the deviled eggs were the best ! My steak was perfect,and my daughter’s seafood gnocchi was excellent . Will definitely be back !

    This restaurant is the right place for lunch or dinner, anytime!! It was my first time there and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable; Sarah was our server, and I couldn't be happier and more impressed with her service. We had some family from San Francisco for the holidays and this place added to our Christmas season!!
