Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. Amazing experience. Our server Dustin was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. From drinks to apps to desserts. We couldn’t have asked for better food or service. The manager Ashley stopped by and checked in on us and was very friendly and sweet. It’s was a nice touch. We will definitely come back to this location again. So many good things to say about this dining experience. Book your reservation, you won’t be disappointed.

The dinner was absolutely delicious. I had the Walleye Pike and my wife had the Fried Chicken. We also had an order of their second to nene Onion Rings. The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly server and the ice cold draft beers were great!

I live 100 miles away and have been there twice in the last 2 weeks for a total of at least 6 times in 2024. Delicious food and nice size portions, great mountain lodge atmosphere sports bar with a Ohio River view. A favorite restaurant.
