Serving up classic bistro cuisine, Floga Bistro provides a casual and relaxed setting with indoor seating (outdoor seating is now closed) for enjoying conversation with friends. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Floga offers delivery service, is completely BYOB, and has a catering menu. Floga Bistro can also host up to 40 guests for private parties. Due to limited space, reservations from November through January have a set time for dining at our restaurant. Guest’s tables are reserved for 1 hour for parties of 2 to 3, 1 hour and thirty minutes for parties of 4 to 6, and one hour and forty-five minutes for parties of 7+. What an unexpected and pleasant surprise this restaurant was, nestled within the old Eagle Tavern. The ambience and decor really aligned with the broader theme of a southern farm to table kitchen. The cocktails were spectacular, especially if you like whiskey, because they have an incredible selection. The sweet potato hush puppies were perfectly fried, and the honey and sauce were delicious. We ordered the short rib and salmon, and the chef was able to make adjustments to the vegetables to address an allergy issue. Both plates were licked completely clean because everything was absolutely delicious. We also got the skillet cornbread and while it was two cut slices on a skillet and not an actual skillet, the flavor was delicious. The only adjustment I would suggest there is the butter was chilled, which made it hard to spread. I wasn’t as excited about the dessert selection but honestly, I didn’t need dessert because the meal was just spectacular. Special shout out to our server, Maddie, who was perfectly attentive without being ever present.

Food was great, our waiter was attentive and we were not rushed. We unknowingly ordered guacamole that was $33 and we were only two people so that was a bit of a sticker shock - and unnecessary because it was way too much. Other than this, good experience.
