We are happy to reopen on Thursday, August 6th. In line with CDC regulations, we can only accept parties of 6 guests or less. We require a face covering upon entry of the restaurant and we ask you are mindful of social distancing as much as possible.Since opening its first restaurant in April of 2005, the Public House continues to strive to be a leader in the bar and restaurant industry. Public House currently encompasses restaurants in New York and National Harbor, MD. Please note reservations are only available for the main dining room. The lounge and bar areas are first come first serve. Housed in a historic 19th century townhouse blocks from the waterfront, 219 Restaurant offers modern Southern cuisine with creole influence. The Salt Line - Navy Yard offers indoor STANDARD seating and OUTDOOR Patio Seating. Our OUTDOOR riverfront patio seating has been winterized and is now comfortably available all year round. The OUTDOOR reservations area has been tastefully enclosed in clear insulated curtains that still provide a scenic river view and is well protected, well heated and honored all weather. Additionally we offer FIREPIT LOUNGE reservations in our large outdoor bar area and first come first served bar, hightop and lounge seating. Please note: the Outdoor Bar area with hightops is covered and well heated but the fire pit and lounge seating is uncovered and so weather permitting. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasing. We got to do a tour of the rooftop and library. The food was amazing and cooked to a perfection with great customer service starting with the greeters at the door the host and the waitress I will be returning with my mother and mother-in-law for sure they will love this place.

My wife and I were looking for restaurants to go to for Christmas and decided to give this restaurant a try. We have passed it numerous times, but never thought to try it until now. Everything about this place was great. The service was excellent and the drinks and food came out very fast. The food was absolutely delicious and filling. I will definitely me coming back to this restaurant.

We visited for brunch after MagFest. The service was prompt and courteous, the food was pretty great, and we were in a room in the back so it was calm and quiet. Only sad part was they were out of Coffee because apparently someone didn't order enough inventory. Truly shocked a restaurant can be sold out of coffee on Sunday at 1:30pm. Otherwise it was a great time.
