Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Komodo Dallas features an ultra-contemporary exterior facade that gives way to an inviting indoor-outdoor flow. The restaurant takes visual cues from its homebase, including Komodo’s signature illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns and duck display windows. From there, pops of saturated color are added, such as with the lounge’s eye-catching wallpaper and a dramatic fabric-draped corridor. Arthurs Steakhouse started in 1948 by Arthurs Bates and his wife off of McKinney Avenue in the Dallas uptown District. It moved to the Gold Towers on Central Expressway and after decades, in 2001, it relocated to Addison where is thrives today. Now withstanding the test of over 70 years, Arthurs Steakhouse offers a grand setting with a Rat Pack Chic vibe and high style for guests to relax and enjoy fine dining with nightly entertainment. You are welcomed into the main dining room by the giant 600 lb Baccarat Crystal Chandelier that suspends over the main dining room. The main dining room is surrounded by 1200 gallons of fresh water aquariums with colorful fish to watch you dine. Arthurs invites you to dine with them in the same way a friend invites you to their home. Five star dining with menu features like Escargot, Crab Cakes, Champagne Brie Soup, Tournedos Rossini, and Chocolate Souffles for dessert. The wine list is extensive and affordable.

    I made a reservation same day for a birthday dinner and it was reserved immediately. I want to start off with the food!! It was a 10 out of 10. The pork belly tacos were amazinggg, the flautas were so good and my boo had the fajitas, nice and flavorful. The frozen guava margarita was delicious and the original margarita on the rocks was good he said. The chips and salsa were a little different… the chips are the hard kinds which I don’t like.. the salsa was just ok. I actually give that a 6/7. I went Sunday night so it was pretty empty by then and I didn’t get to go to the other side… maybe next time because I will definitely go back.

    Amazing experience. The service was incredible, as was the food and atmosphere. We dined there for my father in law’s birthday dinner. The only complaint I have is that the waiter recommended the seafood platter appetizer for the table that ended up be over $700 which was a bit of a shock when we had no indication at all on the price.

    Such a fun experience with my new grand baby and family. Food and service was perfect. I had not been there for dinner in a long time and have forgotten how delicious the food is there. Short ribs and salmon were amazing. My family members had the chicken and said it was the best they had ever had. Thanks mercat for the perfect ending to our Christmas holiday.
