Conchy Joe's Seafood Restaurant and Bar is a Bahamian inspired seafood and steak eatery. It is hailed for its laid-back atmosphere and for pioneering the introduction of conch to the West Coast.. Since 1979, Conchy Joe's has accumulated a number of accolades: it was featured on New York Times Bestsellers, had recipes highlighted by food magazines Gourmet and Bon Appétit and received Florida Trend Magazine's Top 500 Award.     Great food but for the second time in two weeks they were “out of the wine” I had requested. They had also sold out of the dessert my daughter wanted - leading to a third choice. Our server was great but she needed help and was not able to wait on us to the standards we are used to a Colab Kitchen- this was frustrating because we had a 530 reservation and we wanted to adhere to their table time limit. Which is only one hour and 30 minutes. If they want to keep their time limit for each table, they should make sure that they have enough servers.

    We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were promptly shown to our table. It was a beautiful view of the St. Lucie River at sundown. The waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The wine list was diversified and well selected. We ordered the calamari and seared tuna appetizers. They were wonderful. The portions were large. The calamari was very tender and resembled a schnitzel. Could be cut with a fork. For mains we had the ocean scallops and the short rib. Both were special. We were too full to try dessert. Overall this was one of our best dinning experiences on the Treasure Coast. I highly recommend The Nest.
