Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. The fare is American with bits of Italian influences. We have been featured on KQED "Check Please Bay Area". Old school service is friendly and efficient. On this Saturday evening a singer/guitarist was performing in the lounge, so we enjoyed the music during dinner. Tableside Caesar salad was excellent. Bucatini alla Vodka and New York steak were each served hot and perfectly prepared. Best place in the city to go for that special occasion.

Cascal continues to be a top notch lunch or dinner spot. The Spanish food is lively and profusely diffuse. While the prices have inched up,so it has in the other fine restaurants in Silicon Valley. I will return!
