Determined to share their family recipes with the world, Dan Bavaro, his wife Anna-Maria, and their five beautiful children packed their U-Haul, left their friends and family, drove from New Jersey to Tampa, and set out to provide for others the same love, energy, and authenticity that they experience around their own dinner table.

    We a had a great family dinner. We even brought our 17 month old granddaughter, who enjoyed her dinner too! The French onion soup, lobster bisque, steak, ahi tuna, scallops and Chilean sea bass were very good. Service was very good. We’ll be back.

    Our go-to place for special occasions (last night Valentines) so we’re very fond of this quaint restaurant in downtown Sarasota except last night it was so busy that some items seemed to have slipped through the cracks. The food is always great however last night wasn’t as great. The service was excellent for us but we noticed other tables were not as fortunate. The prices seemed to have been adjusted for the Valentine’s menu (adjusted meaning RAISED), for we each had a meal, (Grouper / Pork Oso-busco) nothing fancy) a glass of wine and shared a dessert with one complimentary basket of bread (NOT even a house salad) and the bill was $175! A bit pricey if you’d ask me.

    My wife and I celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary with dinner at Sage SRQ. It was an extraordinarily delightful experience. The historic building makes a charmingly comfortable & tasteful setting. The menu is intriguing, and every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. It was perfect and memorable experience in every way. We have found our new go to special occasion spot. Well done!
