If you approach eating at 'Fire in the Ridge' with the expectation that you'll be in a hub of skiing activity with loud children running everywhere because their parents are ignoring them, then you won't be disappointed. Our service was OK - we had a party of 4, and two people's food came out together, and then a few minutes later one more came out, and then close to 10 minutes later someone came over to apologize and a few minutes after that, the 4th meal came out. They did offer to comp a round of drinks, which was nice. In terms of cost - we paid the same amount of money we would have paid to go to a nicer restaurant, and given the atmosphere (noise, chaos) I would have expected this place to be a lot cheaper. The food was pretty good overall, but nothing was special.

From the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we left, we were treated with the most care and consideration. A fresh long stem rose for me. Seated by the fireplace it seemed like a very special evening was in store.. The menu was well planned and balanced just the right amount of food and the presentation was impeccable. Servers were professional and friendly, and our rep part with all of them was just right. The fillet was amazing and cooked to perfection and the shrimp and clams casino were also very good Dessert was an amazing heart-shaped, layered chocolate vanilla concoction ….out of this world. Definitely will come back and try other evenings, including the live music, which was just a nice addition to the evening.

Our experience was satisfactory. The food was pretty good and so was the service. Dining next to the entry/exit doors where skiers are coming and goin is NOT what most people are looking for when dining out. Steer clear of the bar area. It is loud, kids running around, very cold and drafty. The interior area is overly warm. I think they attempt to keep the entire place warm by cranking the heat. The result... half the restaurant feels like a stuffy and tight space. THe other half is cold and shared with kids running in and out with their moms chasing them. Sad to say, the entertainment/singer on valentine's day was not good.

We went for Valentine's Day and had a very nice meal. Was presented with a rose. Some service issues, took a while to get drinks. Had to switch out my soup because of allergies, and that took a while. Otherwise, food was delicious. Totally enjoyed the atmosphere, would go again.

Great place. Food is very good and so is the service. Very pretty set up with an indoor fire pit too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good food. Friend said her clam chowder had lot of clams and very tasty. Steak taco app was delish. Three of us had short rib grilled cheese and it was stuffed with tender, tasty meat. Good prices, too, in my opinion.

Service was slow, they appeared to be struggling due to being jam packed. Waited about 45 minutes for drinks, ice was out at the bar??? Chicken pot pie was very bland, coleslaw was terrible with the fish and chips. We were sat right by the stage so talking amongst our table was hard. Called us in the morning to let us know they did not have an igloo, and when we stated that was ok we would it inside caller just hung up, no thank you for confirming or anything just click. We chose this cause we are getting married here over the summer, now we are a little concerned with how our evening went with our party of 8.

Booked an igloo which was a lot of fun. Wish the zipper door worked. The two heaters were sufficient but a functional door would have made it better! Out server was great. The food arrived hot and stayed hot to finish with no problem. We had the short ribs and the burger. The food here is pretty amazing in quantity and quality. It’s definitely worth checking out even if you’re not on the mountain for winter sports.
