   The service was friendly and relatively fast, enjoyed that they have a sommelier as part of their staff! All the pastas were amazing, favorites were the orecchiette and short rib orzo. The side dish cauliflower was very unique, served with pepperoni and a lemon sauce- delicious! I’d highly recommend this place for a nicer dinner

   Came in for my birthday dinner with my mom, we absolutely adored the food and service! Huge hits were the Hamachi Crudo, the salmon special, and the Cinque Terre cocktail. Our server was so sweet, she made great recommendations and made sure our dessert (the delightful chocolate cake) came with a birthday candle and adorable sprinkles. Thanks so much for a wonderful birthday dinner!!

   I thought the food at Formento’s was great, but we were sat in a back room that seemed like it was more for banquets than a restaurant. It was so loud and the ambience wasn’t as upscale as the rest of the restaurant. We both agreed we should’ve sat at the bar instead!

   We had a great experience at Formento’s on a Saturday night. The restaurant was lively, and the staff was attentive. The food is great and authentic Italian, some of the best in the city. They have a very diverse menu and the sides are not to be overlooked. They have several fantastic options for side, including top three Brussel sprouts in the city! One drawback of the restaurant I feel is that you are seated in a strategic way by the host or management. Unfortunately my small party was placed in a corner of the room by the kitchen, so we were constantly having to speak over the servers moving to and from the kitchen shouting “CORNER!” It was quite distracting and we passed several empty two person tables on the way to our table, so that was a little disheartening. The food and service were great though so we will be back!

   We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Formentos! Our server made excellent suggestions and checked in at all the right moments. She even brought some gelato with a candle as a treat for my birthday! The food was delicious and the ambiance was how I remembered it when I visited years ago. I will definitely be dining here again. Thank you for making my and my friend’s’ evening lovely and memorable!

   Service was great and the food was good but the portions are very small for the price. My husband left hungry after spending about $33 for 5oz of risotto. Tried their special lobster pasta dish and barely any lobster bits…but the pasta was fresh and overall tasty. They also tack on that 3.5% highly annoying service fee, but will remove if asked.
