   From the incredible crab cakes to the perfect peanut butter pie the food (redfish and steak) was outstanding. There is not a better dining experience in New Orleans, and historic Covington is oh so much more delightful. Gallagher's is a required evening each time we return to the area.

   Made a last minute reservation for 8:15 for this location which we have been to before. Our first experience with this location wasn't 5 star either in which we were served bread and water and no waiter until 15 minutes later. It was Very loud/noisy. Food was exceptional and thought it was just a matter of seating location and busy time. Tonight we were seated in another room in the house and the noise level was as bad if not worse than our first experience. However service & food was 5 star. We are not loud talkers and any conversation was repeated every single word. Atmosphere is very energetic and great for some but not for our 1:1 date night. We will continue to patronize the Gallagher restaurant family but our favorite is 527 in Mandeville. Same expectional food and service with a little more intimate seating options where we can at least hear each other.

   Food was great and our waiter was phenomenal! But we had to park down the street due to the lack of parking available. We were also seated right outside of the kitchen door where the wait staff was constantly coming in and out. My chair was kicked/bumped 7 times. Doesn’t really make for an enjoyable environment. One of the steaks was a little over cooked but was still juicy and delicious. For some reason the table placement just really bothered me. It just didn’t make a $320 dinner very relaxing

   Redfish Couvillion. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Food was hot, service was quick. Beer is cold, bread brought to the table was unimpressive. The back of the restaurant by the bar is noisy as hell. Wait staff for the most part are energetic and nicely dressed. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend.

   Great experience dining here tonight celebrating a birthday! The food was great! We got 2 filets, 1 NY Strip, & 1 Ribeye, along with sides of corn/cheese grits, sweet potato casserole, baked mac & cheese, and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious & the wait staff was extremely kind & attentive!
