    Another excellent experience at Gram & Dun. Andrea was our server (again) and she does such an amazing job. Energetic, polite and not overbearing. We were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and once the owner, Stephen found out, he stopped by many times to see how the meal was. For dessert they brought over a bottle of champagne and a "shot" for her to celebrate her big day. The food was fantastic, and it was an all-around great evening! We will be back.

    We celebrated my birthday over brunch - perfect seating, lovely server and delicious food. My favorite restaurant in KC! Great atmosphere.

    Always clutch! My favorite spot on The Plaza. Whoever was working the bar and made my extra dirty martini last Friday night…best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had many. Absolute perfection.

    There wasn’t as much food on the octopus dish as there has been in the past. It seemed to be lacking some of the ingredients..

    We’ve been to Gram and Dun several times but this was not the Gram and Dun we remember. We went in on Sunday night to celebrate my husband’s 50th. It was not busy. Two girls were at the hostess stand when we walked in. They were talking to one another when we entered and we had to stand there for a minute before they would even look up and acknowledge us which is super annoying when your job is to greet guests. They did not make us feel welcome. Once we were seated, we waited another five minutes or so before anyone acknowledged us at our table. No one brought water or said someone would be with us in a minute. It was very bizarre. Finally our waiter came over. I do think he had the whole glass room by himself but it still didn’t seem right. He was nice enough but certainly wasn’t exceptional. As for the food, it wasn’t even as we remembered. I had the burnt end Mac n cheese and it lacked flavor. One of our daughters ordered a side of Mac n cheese to go with her steak and she thought it was grainy and weird. On a positive note, the Brussels sprouts were delicious. All in all though, I would say it was super disappointing especially given it was my husband’s 50th birthday and we spent over $300. We just left wishing we had gone somewhere else.

    My girlfriend and I went to Gram & Dun the Saturday after Valentine’s Day for a brunch date. We set reservations and our experience was great. Our server Sophie was great and the food was good. We would definitely go back.

    Had the breakfast skillet and it was amazing. My daughter had the breakfast tacos and they were great too. Sophie our server was very nice and attentive.

    Please listen because this is not coming from a place of hate. While the atmosphere of Gram and Dun is wonderful, the food was lack luster to say the least. I ordered the filet and upon arriving found the steak to be rare. I cut it in half and asked for a re-fire, even after the manager urged me to just have it cooked more (if I wanted my steak to be in two pieces to check the wellness I would have made it at home and cut it into bits myself) Alas after another refire I was left with another rare steak and ended up going home without eating a thing. Unfortunately this was just like the reviews I had read before coming and wish there was a way management could make it up to us.

    Our server Andrea was very friendly and gave wonderful recommendations. We visited during Valentines Day and had a combination of regular menu items and features. Everything tasted amazing and service was very quick. We will definitely visit again.
