Delicious food. My favorites are the bacon wrapped filet, pork crunchy tacos on the appetizer menu and the porterhouse. Their salad is always fresh. Love the sourdough bread and whipped butter. I think it’s the best restaurant in the stockyards.

The restaurant is great to family, couples and friends. The food is delicious. We had the filet mignon and the smoked sirloin. All the sides are delicious.

Overall the atmosphere was what you’d expect. We got seated pretty quickly (we did have a reservation). We ordered steaks to eat and were pretty disappointed. My ribeye was the leanest ribeye I’ve ever had. A ribeye is a fatty cut of meat. That’s where the flavor comes from. Mine had no flavor. My wife got the center tenderloin (I think) medium rare. It was overcooked (more like medium well). We actually sent that one back which they took care of without any trouble and cooked another. The next one was still a bit overcooked but better. My wife didn’t think the flavor was very good, but I thought it tasted pretty good. Overall, for how much those steaks cost, definitely not worth the price. The fries and the queso appetizer were good. And the menu looked like there are lots of good options. Hopefully they aren’t as disappointing as the steaks. If you’re looking for good steak, go elsewhere!

Super tasty steaks, the best I've ever eaten. The ribs were a dream as a starter. The dessert was super tasty. The waiters are very attentive and nice. I can only recommend the restaurant and we will come back on Friday. Thank you very much

Great venue and enjoy the history and Stockyards energy. I had a food issue but the management was very apologetic and accommodating.

Hostesses have been an issue for some time now. They’re just unwelcoming and act bored with customers. Our table for two had no silverware/cloth napkin. Served us warm bread with no way to cut it. Asked for silverware and got some after awhile. Ordered 12oz prime rib. Was cooked fine but 30% of it was straight fat so we had an 8oz steak in reality. Just used to be a great spot for us locals, but now it’s just a tourist eatery.

8pm reservation on a Friday evening, we were immediately met with the "We don't have..." list including no burnt ends, NO prime rib, NO smoked sirloin, and NO RANCH DRESSING. "Basically nothing on this entire page of the menu." Period. After choosing this spot over 10 others for our party of 6, everyone settled on an item and half of them were lukewarm upon delivery. Meagan did her best to apologize and even asked the kitchen to MAKE A BATCH of ranch dressing. She seemed frustrated due to customer complaints, so we tried our best to keep positive despite wishing we had just gone elsewhere. It seemed like better managerial planning could have gone into supply for an anticipated Friday evening with a bowl game in town. Super disappointed with this visit and hope future patrons have a better experience than we did. Maybe call ahead if you would like something specific from the menu. Coming from Houston, I understand "running out of prime rib" toward the end of the evening. But, EVERYTHING on a menu page? Best part of our $550 visit was the bar drinks.
