   The Hart House is a beautiful restaurant in a great setting. However, the quality of the food at the prices leaves a lot to be desired. For example, the caesar salad had no dressing or cheese and was just a few pieces of wilted lettuce with crutons and a few roasted cauliflower florets. The brisket burger was mediocre. If the food could be made tastier, then it would be a great dining experience.

   Great food, staff were friendly and the vibe was cozy but not loud. Prices were fair for the quality. Would definitely come back!

   We had a lovely evening of great food, wine and awesome staff !! The squid was absolutely delicious and their main course of halibut and lamb was outstanding

   Great food and service as always. Consistently one of the best burgers around. Never been disappointed at Hart House.

   Well I have been a Google guide for about 6 yrs and I have about over 1 1/2 million views of my pictures. I have been to the Hart house many times and I really like this place !! It's a hidden gem that not a lot of people know about! Where in the lower mainland of Vancouver can you find a restaurant that you can drive up to the main entrance and park for free while you go inside and have some fine dining? Hart house offers a unique dining experience with the price of going to the white spot or Dennys!! Today my wife and I and 2 friends visiting Canada had brunch . I hade the chicken and waffles with a free range egg with real whipping cream and real maple syrup and it was very good! My wife and her 2 friends ordered eggs benny with potatoes but received smashed potatoes. My wife and I could get smashed potatoes at the white spot that's why we never go to the white spot . Smashed potatoes are I believe boiled potatoes then deep fried and smashed not what we consider the kind of potatoes to be served at a fine dining restaurant. So my wife never ate the potatoes and herc2 friends ate a bit of them but most of them will go to the crows! The servers should be told to explain the potatoes served cause the menu is a little misleading. Tbe potatoes served the previous time were chopped up potatoes not smashed very dissapointing. My wife asked yo speak to the manager and the manager offered to not charge for the breakfast for my wife but my wife declined saying that she did not come for a free breakfast. I was in the washroom when this discussion was going on and apparently we were offered a free dessert but thatcwas declined. That was very nice but I think the manager should have given a discount as a good gesture even if my wife declined the offer. This won't stop me from coming to the Hart house because it is a nice restaurant and I still highly recommend it!!

   The Hart House exceeded all of our expectations. I'm so used to getting average food but this was an experience. The AAA tenderloin could have been cut with a butter knife and was cooked perfectly. The Sablefish was tasty. Presentation was excellent as well. Service was outstanding as well. While a little expensive it was worth it for a nice night out.

    The staff of Harthouse were excellent. They were very friendly especially to my friend’s granddaughter. She felt very spoiled when she was addressed by the manager as “Princess”! Genevieve was our server and she was very attentive, polite and pleasant. My friend was visiting from Edmonton and she enjoyed her lunch very much. Thank you for making it a pleasant and enjoyable afternoon for us.
