Choose from an array of menu options including our traditional "Santa Maria Style" BBQ. This very popular choice consists of tri-tip sirloin and & chicken slowly cooked over red oak on one of our old fashioned buckboard barbecue pits. If you can imagine it we can create it. If you would prefer to build your own menu, we would be happy to accommodate any requests you make. Hunter Steakhouse looks forward to serving you.

Hunter Steakhouse has been a favorite for years . The table side salad and bread is amazing. We always get the standard cut prime rib and it is large and flavorful. I had read reviews stating very poor service which was a surprise because we’ve always had great service. Unfortunately last night was lacking in service and I’m not a complainer . It took thirty minutes to get water and ice tea normally bread comes very fast . It never came until I asked for it which was when the salad had already been served . Refills on drinks were never offered, the man in a booth next to us told the waitress you are not going to get a good review. He wasn’t mean or rude just a fact and normally I would think that was a horrible thing to say but unfortunately I had to agree with him. Not sure what is happening but management better observe what’s going on

Unfortunately seems understaffed, especially for a Tuesday at 6:00pm. Our waitress was incredibly nice and professional. ( not her fault ) It is very obvious more help is needed ; a food runner would be helfpful to run drinks from the bar or serve food. Waitress was literally doing everything .. yikes on management . Our server had way more tables than the other waitresss . Food was delicious though , was disappointed didn't get offered any birthday desert , we made reservations as a birthday celebration.

We love this restaurant and both of us grew up going out for special dinners since the 1970’s. This experience left us both disappointed due to the seriously terrible service (or non-service to be more specific) to the point that we walked out & went out to dinner elsewhere. We were given water, when I tried to decline it, the server simply turned & walked away leaving it on the table. Our waitress absolutely ignored us for 25 minutes or more, while greeting & taking care of other diners who arrived after us, but had more people.

Very busy place. Good food as always. Went for happy hour in the bar downstairs. It was completely full. Good drinks. Two birthday parties going on in the dining area so it was very noisy.

Had the New York strip. Very tasty. Table side salad was excellent as usual. Prices are up there but you have to pay for good quality. Serving size was very good. I would certainly recommend this.

Traveling from out of town and found Hunter on OpenTable. Service was great but the steaks were low quality. They were not tender and the grill needed cleaning as there were bits of charred/burnt particles where the grill marks were. Prices were reasonable. Would I return? Probably not.

Great meal. Food was perfect. So was the service. Generous portions. Wonderful atmosphere by the fire. Couldn't have been any better.
